YUNKER SUPPLEMENT DRINK WITH VITAMINS

Yunker Formulated Energy Drink by Japanese company SatoAt CVS looking for a new energy drink to try. Was thinking of a new flavor of Fuel 7-Hour Energy, but I wanted something more than one small shot to drink. Then I saw this long box of Yunker. Looks like a taller bottle, and there were Chinese characters on it to boot.

So I get home and when I open the box, inside I see a long plastic case holding this small bottle. I had neglected to notice that the label said that it contained only 1 fluid ounce (30 mL). This is what else was on the label:

The metal cap had a baby elephant on it. The liquid was coffee-colored. I took one sip, which sent a frisson throughout my body and caused the back of my throat to burn. It’s like a potent version of coke, but not carbonated. I read that this has only 50 milligrams of caffeine, but the stinging sensation in your mouth will wake you up.

But it didn’t give me the jolt of energy that I’ve come to expect from American energy drinks. This is more like something you drink everyday for its health benefits and not as an instant productivity booster.

I wouldn’t buy it for the taste or flavor, and this is just too expensive for me to drink everyday to see if it has any substantial benefits for the body. Price: around $2.99.
